Jason and I went out this morning before sunrise and after a slow morning, Jason seemed to find the fish and had a solid run. First it started with a small Blackfin Tuna, as he pulled it in, he saw a HUGE sea turtle come up near his ski, then noticed some yellow and blue in the water, you guessed it, MAHI! After landing the tuna, he immediately threw out the skirt and pulled in two Mahi back to back then started trolling again and landed a nice 20lb Wahoo that felt like a monster because he foul hooked it and when he gaffed it, the hook popped out. Remember people, don't forget the net or the gaff as it will help you land the one that might get away otherwise.

Even though I only landed a small Almaco Jack, it broke my my fishing slump. Can't wait until the next time out!
