Me and my friends decided to go at 5:30 a.m. but two of them came early about 4:50 a.m. but one didn't show up yet. So we went to the gas station and bought coffee, ice, and gas went back to pick him up. He still didn't show up yet, so we waited for 20 minutes and finally he showed up, then we head out to Ventura all the way. On the way there, something made me feel dissappointed because it was sprinkling, I hope when I get to Ventura there will be no more rain, if not we will have a spoiled fishing trip. Fortunately, my wish really came true, so we prepared some stuff and fished for 3 hours. One of my friends, never fished before I taught him and he spent about $500 for the equipment and clothes. I made sure he will catch a fish, good thing he learns fast catching some fish. And he was really happy about it. I called him today and he said the fish was really delicious, asking me when I will go again. Here's the fish count: Kao=4 perch, Sam=3 perch, Johnny(the newbie)=2 perch, and Me=2 perch. The reason I didn't post pics were because the fish was less than 10 inches. Next trip I will do better.

The condition was good, except for the weather, it sucked. Everytime it rains, it's never good, the fish run to the deep waters and hide. What can I do? I promised the rookies to go fishing and he bought new fishing equipment, I didn't want to make him dissappointed.

There's nothing we can do about it, all we can do is just wait for a good weather and the right timing. I'm still waiting for the cobina to come out.
