Started out on the water at 7am. Strated trolling a lure when I hit 80 feet deep and planned to head to the 200's. Usually I pick up bonita in that area and time. Sure enough my real started singing and it was a bonita. Then kept my line up and headed out to the 800's. I wanted the dolphin again, but couldn't find them. Had a false alarm with baracuda. After an hour of no luck out there headed back in. Saw some birds in the 700's. Trolled by and landed some nice size skipjack tunas. First one bent the hook which I belive made it easier for the second to get off the hook. After all said and done, landed the first and third. Then came back to the 100's drifting for a king. Didn't stay long because after my last fishing trip, I forgot to push the bar down on my ice maker in the fridge, so I was iceless, didn't want the tuna meat to go bad. Dropped my lure in to troll back to the inlet and pulled a nice size spanish mac. Got back in by 12:30pm.
Tight Lines,
