I have thought about these in the past. The problem with towing anything, even a rescue sled, is that when a big fish is hooked, wahoo/mahi/etc, when they run side to side, you need to clear the back to avoid tangles. With an additional couple of feet, it'd be hard to clear unless you have a long rod. However, since it's detachable, you can probably detach it and park it parallel to the jetski when you are fishing. It'd be much shorter distance width wise than length wise. When you want to move, just position it behind the jetski and hit the throttle. If extra storage is what you need, ie: scuba tanks or fuel tanks, these are easiest way to do it.

Thats what I was thinking about extra storage. I was worried about how they tow and handling of the ski with it attached. I never thought about fighting fish. But your right it would pose an issue. Might have to look into that a little closer. Thanks!

They are good for flat water, in the rough you will definitely feel that they are attached to your ski. I know someone who thought they were going to tow one to Bimini, lets just say that idea got squashed real quick.

Good to know so far the cons out weigh the pro's. Looks like a pass on this one.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool to have, but because of the jet pump, you have to tow it far away from the ski, in flat water pretty much.

I got ya I was worried about towing it and complications. Also the fishing aspect alone kinda bothers me.
