Catalina July 16-18

Postby MejorPain » Fri May 07, 2010 5:30 pm

North County Yamaha (San Marcos, CA) sponsors a weekend trip to Catalina every year. Fishing is optional but highly encouraged (by me!). My wife and I have made the trip the last 7 years. This year's trip takes place July 16 through 18.

We leave from Dana Point early on Friday and return on Sunday morning. There is a lead and chase boat and full support if you break down. cost is $80 per pwc. Secure mooring is included.

If interested post a reply and I will give you the contact info via personal message.

I am unable to do the 16th but would like to do a (17-18) Saturday to Sunday Catalina trip on this weekend if anyone else is interested. I don't want to run Catalina by myself but can't make the Friday trip over.

MajorPain: where do you guys stay? Would it be possible to hook up in Catalina or for Catalina and the return trip? I may run over solo on Saturday (if no one else wants to go) if I could hook up with the group returning Sunday. I don't even mind paying the full fee to make sure that I have a mooring in Catalina Saturday evening.

You have three weeks to pray for a bite!! Want to go?

If conditions are not good by July 17 in Catalina we are in for a late late season or no season.
