I have been wanting to do it. I even bought an auxiliary tank for my fx HO. It fits above the batteries and holds an extra 7.5 gallons.

What about the big swell. It is supposed to last through the week.

Went wave jumping Friday in oceanside harbor. Huge inside the jetty!

Probably fish around west end for some calicos and hopefully yellows. The temp is going to drop quite a bit over the weekend so hopefully the fishes cooperate. Worst comes to worst we'll stop by izors or the green buoy for some sandbass or rockfish.

Which launch ramp?
Bait suggestions?

we'll probably launch from Long Beach Davies ramp. let's meet there at 0600. as for bait, i haven't seen much fishing reports out there. but i plan on bring a pack of squid/shrimp and some plastics for calicos and maybe rockfish.

i'm bring an extra 2.5 gal tank of fuel just in case. but we can stop by 2 harbors on the way back if anyone needs to refuel.
