We went to Dana Point launch ramp at 7:30 a.m. and fished inside the kelp pad. My daughter and I caught nothing but my son caught 1 rockfish. Looked for a couple of spots couldn't find any fish so we decided to fish at open water, still no luck. Then, we see two boats far away we thought it was a party boat but it was a whale watching boat. So we decided to chase the whale and had a great time. And this is my first time seeing a whale.

I believe Joseph caught all of it if I knew earlier I wouldn't have gone to Dana Point. Dam. Luckily I saw the whale.
