Found a gps for $200 instead of $400? Does Sport Chalet have a sale? Want to share a coupon? Post it here!

Cooler racks....

Postby ducky » Tue Aug 09, 2011 8:50 am

Do I need a cooler rack or can I just strap down my cooler to my ski? As of right now I don't plan on having a live bait well.... I'll just use the frozen stuff for right now. Any insight would help.... Thanks

just strapping a cooler might be okay for calm water. the handle bars on the coolers aren't build strong enough to handle the constant bouncing and it will break sooner or later.

I was planning on putting brackets on the cooler and strapping it down and anchoring it down....

why not just build a rack out of PVC so you'd only have to do it once? it really doesn't take long to build a rack.

I am also struggling to fit /design a rack to fit my tigershark Monte Carlo. i doesnot have the large boarding deck on the rear for a rack to sit on. Will most likely have to use a permenant mount which replaces the rear grab rail. Ideas?
Thanks
