well i went, i looked, and i boogied!!!!hahahahaha ... I slid up behind the Victory along with about 4 other private boaters and tossed jigs for about 45 minutes. Got one bump and thats it. Victory wasn't doing anything either. they had a few shorts but the bite hadn't turned on yet. After feelin my ski lift up and lower like a rollercoaster ride. I turned around to find the swells stackin up and comin.. I hung around for another ten minutes to see if they were gonna subside, but to no avail. Wind started picking up around 10:30, so i decided to be safe and not sorry and boogie back..Totally right thing to do, I basically surfed the waves halfway back to the landing and the last 500 yards was a total washing machine. even heard a few boats radioing how quickly the water turned.

glad you made it home safe Rock! i was out on a twilight with a friend on Sat night. found barely legal cudas around Seal Beach area right away. nothing wide open but a few bit. sandies were biting a little too. quality of the fish were on the small side.. but i'm predicting a good turn around starting this weekend and into next week because the temp is going back up!
