Found a gps for $200 instead of $400? Does Sport Chalet have a sale? Want to share a coupon? Post it here!

Dick's Sporting Goods Fishing Equipment Liquidation

Postby hobiefish » Thu Mar 17, 2011 7:48 pm

Dick's is liquidating all fishing gear in the stores that have tackle and gear. Everything in the fishing dept. is 50% off thru 4/2 but is going fast. Not all stores have a fishing dept.

I went by the Eastland, West Covina tonight. They have alot of good stuff and it is going fast. I just couldn't help myself and left with $295.00 worth of stuff. I have a couple years supply of leadheads, swimbaits, Gulp, Flourocarbon, and some pretty fancy jigs and Xrap crankbaits. My receipt was about 5' long.

Here is the list of stores; call first because not all stores have fishing equipment.

I am so tempted to go back! They had Seeker trolling and standup rods for $99.00. I was going to buy a another Shimano Clarus rod for $35 and didn't; I think I paid $70 @ Turners for the one that I have.

Hobie since u started posting stuff on this web site this is one of the best. You made me spend around $290 dollar. Thanks alot! My receipt came out like yours five feet long! I got good stuff at this store. I bought two daiwa rods for trout and crappie only cost me twenty dollar each, it was a really good deal, and also jigs, plastic lures, hooks, and crappie jig. This place for buying things is better then Fred Hall Show. Hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you guys want to buy fishing equipment then go to Dick's Sporting Goods! Go now DO NOT WAIT!!!

I felt bad after I got home because I wasn't planning to spend that much and I just spent $300 at basspro a couple weeks ago on a great new jetski rod & reel. After I unpacked everything and put it away I cannot believe how much stuff I got for $295.00. I have two cabinet drawers full of stuff.

I almost went back today but went kayaking in Newport Bay instead...it was a lot cheaper that going back to Dick's. It sure was windy in Newport Bay but still good to be in the water and catch a few spotties.

I am glad that you got in on this too Alan.
