went out with Peter this morning to hit up a local spot for sandbass and sculpin. wind was dying down as we head out and the sea was a bit choppy. we managed to get to the spot going 40mph and got that in 10minutes. by the time we got there, several party and private boats were already in action. first spot i was on the board with a sandbass, 2 rockfish, and a lizard. and that was it! i think Peter had a few bites but nothing much. wind died down by 11 and so did everything else. it was FLAT CALM seas and no wind! we left after a few hours of nibbles.. decided to go for a ride instead. GPS checked in at 57mph!

no pictures this time, nothing worth mentioning.

Regardless, a day on the water and catching nothing is still better than a day sitting at home wishing you were on the water.
