Hey guys, I was just wondering if any body new anything about the (lowrance elite 5 dsi fish finder). I am thinking about purchasing it this weekend and installing. Im not to familiar with fish finders and want to make sure I buy the right one for my needs. I have done some research but still could use more information on some one who has operated one and knows. That's a very nice fish finder. How much are you getting it for?

Thru a buddy of mine I think I'm going get it for about 500 new, I think they cost about 600 or more.

Wow! I paid 500 for my Colorado color ff a few years back. The specs on the lowrance is so much more powerful. If you can get it at that price, that's a great find!
