Fishing at Dana Point 11/1/11

Postby alanhighhand » Tue Nov 01, 2011 4:13 pm

I launched at 8:15 a.m. The waves were very calm and the weather was partly cloudy. The water temperature was 61 degrees. On the first spot I went I caught 2 big sheephead, and couple small sized sheephead and released. Then went to second spot couldn't catch any, and then went to the third spot caught a couple more, and some small ones. Over all it was not bad every 15 minutes got me busy with a fish bite. Until 12:45 p.m. I ran out of bait. It was about time to go home.

These are the pictures:

I would like to try catching one of those sheep on a Zebco 202 combo from walmart.
But, seriously Allan, you sure know how to kill those sheephead. I really wish I had your work schedule.
I would love to fish on mondays and tuesdays.

Good job man

Joe

Very nice post and pic Alan! Wish I could have gone today! Maybe next week. Hopefully planning to go on Friday if no plans are made. I hope to catch some myself!
