Just curious, What type of fish can be caught around rigs, and second in the gulf coast where are rigs closest to shore ?

You can catch Red fish, red snapper, many different types of sharks, Gaff tops, ling, spanish Mak, stingrays, eels, king fish, spec trout, grouper, and the list goes on.

Near the Texas coast many can be seen from shore and plenty are between 5-75 miles out.
