The waters were calm, contrary to what the marine forecast noted, so we knew the waves and wind would pickup at some point

That started changing pretty quick and by the time we started rolling in, about 11am, it was definitely 5 foot rollers which would have been perfect for wave jumping, but we had all the gear on the skis and didn't want to risk breaking or losing anything. LOL
I ended up with 2 skipjack tuna (bigger one is 24 inches) and Eric ended up with one about the size of my bigger one.

Here's a pic of the bigger one and the skirt color that seems to be a proven winner for the tuna down here.

All in all, a day on the water is better than a day spent at home so whether we caught anything or not, it was a day well spent.
