hawaiian style fishing tips...


Hook up a MahiMahi or other fish that feed/swim in schools....

reel in to about 10 feet from boat/pwc/kayak..

you jump in or buddy jump in da water with a good spear gun rig.... (if your on a boat, someone else should throw in a fly line with live bait)

i usually see 4-5 other Mahimahi coming close to investigate....

pick dinner and FIRE...

its not unusual to pick off 3 fish at one time.

Thank you for sharing your information for us, I appreciate it. I think you chose the right dinner, I never caught a mahi-mahi in my life but I look forward on catching those fish in the future. Hopefully this year I plan to go to La Paz when I have time.

Cabo is not too far away...

some great tuna fishing there... also crazy roosterfish!!

Dorado is everywhere in baja.

stilling waiting for those damn dodos to swim up to newport like it did a few years ago!!
