Have another question, I have read about skis getting water in engine thru the exhaust when drifting. If this is true does that mean you have to have motor running at vall times?

When docking, I prefer to come in wide and at an angle. At idle speed, I'll hard turn and cut of the motor as the rear swings in. Because the rear is swinging in, it's easy for me to put my leg out to stop any impact. It's an overly fancy way to do it, but it works really well.
