Are any of you guys interested on a tournament in LA? If you guys do, please give me some suggestions. We should make a tournament here in LA since there are a lot of jetski members and we should come out to have some fun. ;)

i'm running out of stickers and hats!!

I'm thinking since our local members span from as north as Ventura and as south as San Diego, we need to have the event half way so it's easier for everyone. How many people are interested? We'll decide on a place when we know how many participants. I can't wait to take home another trophy! :P

My personal opinion, I think Dana Point is a convenient place for everybody. Now we need to know how many people are coming. And how much is the entry? We need to prepare one nice trophy and prize. Hi everybody make sure you guys reply fast, so we
can do the tournament on August. The purpose of this is for everyone to meet up and have a good time.

For example, $20 for entry.
-How to use this money? Buy one nice trophy that goes to the most heaviest fish.
-The extra money 50% is for the most heaviest fish.
30% is for the 2nd heaviest fish.
20% is for the 3rd heaviest fish.
Rules: Sharks and stingrays DON'T COUNT!! The fish has to be legal size.
Bait: Any bait is allowed.
The tournament time starts at 6:30 a.m. and comes back at 12:30 p.m.
Any suggestions please let me know. Remember this is only for fun and a good time. :D

Sounds fun! Hopefully it's not between Aug.16th-22nd, if so, I will have to attend the next tourney. I will be out of town those dates. Kinda wonder what species are going to be caught and what's going to take the Jackpot!

I will turn in a barn door halibut.
Take the money and turn it over to HS for all the money he has spent on stickers and Tshirts.
I say, legal game fish only. Just like on the sport boats.

I agree! And I think a Halibut is going to take it.

Yes, legal game fish only. Just like on the sport boats. The date for the tournament is Sunday, August 14. Make sure you guys bring some tissue paper because I'm taking the trophy home. Hahaha!
