I think I'm going to try and hit either Surfside jetty or Bolivar jetty this weekend (first trip outside the intra-coastal or bays). If someone would like to join hit me up. Wind 5-10. Waves less than two feet (according to NOAA).

Hey Mike.

I heard that specs were biting at San Luis Pass so a friend and I were going to wade fish at the pass then get on the ski and fish Carancahua Reef in west Bay Saturday morning.

Mind if I tag along? That sounds fun. I was wade fishing Surfside beach last sunday and did well on specks. They were biting for about 25 minutes every cast. 4 keepers caught 12.

Whats your number? We plan on meeting at dawn at the San Luis Pass Park fish there or possibly unhook the ski and drive to the other side of the pass and wade fish. Hopefully catch our limit then get on the ski to fish the reef in west bay.
If you have any suggestion we are open as well. We just wanted to his the pass cause of what we were told was biting...
