Took my son and nephew to La Jolla south kelp. Launched about 7AM. PIcked up some macks, which were too big. Used frozen squid on dropper loop. Found a nice honey hole and and worked it for a couple of hours. We took home 2 keeper Calicos, 2 Sheephead (I boated and lost 1 more sheepshead because I didn't grab it properly.) Released 10 small calicos and a sculpin. Water was 65 degrees a,d flat. No wind. Great Day!
