I'm just curious... If you modified your PWC and added running lights, would you be able to take it out before sunrise or after sunset? You can't do that with a standard PWC in Maryland, but I'm wondering if I could if lights were added...

Has anyone done this?

I don't know about your state but night operation is prohibited on California:

I think we should get a petition going. You can run a kayak with lights at night but not a jetski? [url][/url]Stupid....i think that jetski fishermen tend to be a more safety concious group anyway. Just my 2 cents. May even be able to restrict it to fishing rigs ....since boating regs are kind of querky anyway.
