mounting at fish finder

Hi Guys, Have just bought a Seadoo 260 GTX LTD And just got a RayMarina A50D have any of you how to mount it and also would like to have the tranducer inside the jetski so it does not get damaged. Thanks Ian.

dude found a post on this forum hat helped me out search for : how-to install fish finder . its here some where .

It really depends on the design of the model. I was lucky to find one that has a depth finder option, which means there's a flat surface inside the hull for the transducer. Main thing to look for is a flat surface enough to glue the transducer and away from the engine. Remember, you don't want any bubbles or gaps between the bottom of the transducer and the hull. If you do, the reading will be off and you'd have to redo everything.

I had the suction cup transducer on my kawasaki and it worked brilliantly to 50mph. I am about to change sounders to a Lowrance, and will most likley use an airmar in hull transducer which also allows you to mount it up to 22 degrees of angle.
