you are absolutely right! this is the site for fishing on a jetski! definitely have a look in the reports section to see others in action. I know there are several guys in TX area that goes out regularly. post your plans if you're going out!

if you need help with rigging, first thing to decide is to figure what type of fishing you'll be doing (ie: bottom fishing, chasing big game, fish inshore, etc.). then think about what equipment you'd need, fish finder, GPS, cooler rack, for example. lastly, go out and bring home some fish! :)

Welcome Ipguy! I too am new to this idea of fishing from a jet ski. I just received my new engine for my ski today from SBT in Florida. We need to get together and swap some ideas, I am just down the road in Danbury. There are a few of the guys I work with that are hitting the water soon, real soon. Jlai92, garrylandgraff, Ropen are from the area also. As soon as I get my STUFF together, I would like to find a day that the weather will cooperate and meet up with all the guys from the area, face to face to get to know everyone, where and how they fish, and learn a few things. Then plan to shake a stick at dim fishes! PM me and I will send my info, maybe we can meet up at Fillip's Cafe in Danbury or I can head up to Alvin and have a bite. Majoity of my fishing has been done South of Chocolate Bayou to San Luis Pass to Cole Pass, Bastrop and Christmas Bay. Would like to venture to the Surfside and Quintana Jetty's and a few wrecks and rigs nearby.
