Hi all, I live in Houston and own a 96 seadoo xp (dont know if thats a reliable or big enough ski? its in good condition.) was hoping to find info and meet people who i can go fishing with. I own an small metal fabrication company that specializes in aluminum fabrication, so the sky is the limit on mods (I even do anodized material, full hydraulic tube bender the whole nine) . But i don't even know where to start.... Thats why im here. To learn what it takes. And maybe get some awesome ideas I can bring to life.

Welcome to the forum. You are going to find a bunch of guys in and around the Houston area. As long as its sea worthy I don't see why not use that ski. Check out the Saltwater Garage to get some ideas on rigging. Would love to see some pics of what you build. I built my cooler rack out of aluminum, but I'm in the process of redesigning. Plan to make the second one soon. Anodizing would be really cool. If you ever head down south to Corpus, Aransas Pass, Rock Port give me a shout and we'll hook up and hit the rigs. Good luck and welcome to the addiction!!
