Yup you got that right. Grew up here and love fishing all the different areas. Yeah the big trout and reds are getting harder and harder to find in the flats. The areas are under allot of heavy pressure. But just the other day I landed 29" red weighed in at 9.5 lbs. Took some quick pics and released her to fight again. Would love to land a big jack on a fly  tarpon is another on the list. Thanks John

Paul, those are some good looking flies. I use allot of the same flies myself. I do not tie as well as you, wish I had more time to practice. But the fish don't seem to mind my bad tying skills. The white and chartreuse one in the lower center with the spinner on it. What's that called and does the spinner spin or what? Never seen that before.

8-) It is my own creation. You and I know that reds love wobbly gold stuff. The prop spins and vibrates.Fish candy..Works best with a slow clear sink tip. They all work pretty darn good, but topwater is my favorite. I don't know if you ever tried a 2 fly combo.Topwater popper with a small weighted fly down below. If not give it a try.Seeya ...Paul
