ocean water

I know I've been asking a lot of questions, but I want to get this right....bare with me guys. Considering my ski hasn't been in the ocean before, is there anything I should know about taking it into the ocean besides cleaning after use and what not? And as far as mechanical, there's nothing I need to add for performance to be out in the ocean...right? Just don't want to get out in the ocean and somebody says 'why don't you have this or that'. My ski is all stock, maybe 30 hours on it. It was only being used in the summer.....that's gonna change here real soon!!! So let me know, just trying to make sure I'm covered.

Yes, just a real good engine flush after use and wash the ski down with soapy water. Also purchase some CRC656 or equivalent and spray down the motor and inside of hull to stop corrosion.

Once you dip the ski in saltwater there are potential resales issues because buyers are scared of saltwater but that would not stop me from using a ski in salt.

For sure. Thanks, I can't wait to finish this project.....its driving me nuts thinking I'll be doing two things I love to do at the same time...fishing and jetsking. Stay safe all!
