I am planning to buy the annual license. Do I need to include "Ocean Enhancement Validation"? Also do I need "Second Rod Validation"?

Hi Tony! It's good to buy a annual license because you never know how many times you are going fishing. Absolutely, you must include the ocean enhancement validation. It's the most important because we fish ocean a lot. On the second rod validation, it depends on you, if you fish fresh water a lot then you need it. An expert like me one fishing rod is enough for me.

Great. That means I need one fishing rod for now :)

Hey guys,

In Queensland, Australia (where I live), there is no fishing licence fee required (except for a couple of fresh water dams). However if you go interstate into New South Wales for example, you are requried to buy a fishing licence for all areas, i.e. offshore, rivers, dams etc. The one licence covers all. I'm not too sure about the other state of Australia.

Cheers

Don't mind so much the price increase here in Texas, expenditures are transparent. All monies collected go right back into the the resource. I utilize everything from free waterways to state parks. I don't mind it. It was hit hard this last year with record drought and wildfires. We'll get it back though with a little care and patients.
