San Diego Area Fishing?

Postby MejorPain » Sun Mar 07, 2010 6:31 pm

When is the next trip? I am new to fishing but have been riding the area for 10 years. Carlsbad area. Any tips on rigging?

Check out the GARAGE section for rigging tips. I hear Coronado Island is putting out some yellowtails @ the moment. I'm planning to go there in April, launching out of Dana Landing.

I heard La Jolla has been pretty good lately...Big WSB and the yellows are starting to chew as well. Slow trolled live macks high & low would be the best bet! A lot of bait around from what I hear and if you can slow troll through some puddling bait on the surface it's game on!!!
