My family and I went to Malibu for surf fishing. We got there around 6:00 PM, it was a bit late. We started fishing, my first cast, I got a fish. My second cast another one, they were biting like crazy. Suddenly my daughter caught one, then my son! Everyone caught fish, wide open, they were all barred perch. We caught over limit, but they aren't big, they are 6-8 inches. If you guys want to go surf fishing this is a good time to head out to Malibu. Don't worry all the fish was released, except 2 decent sized. We took it home for dinner. I did shoot some video, but it's late, so I will make it tomorrow.

I should've gone surf fishing too! Haven't done it in a while. Good job on the perch!
