i want to start fishing in the San Diego area.. What rod/real combos are the best to carry given the limited space? What other terminal tackle do you use for socal area?

Tackle I use varies on what type of fishing I would do on any given day. I carry as little as possible due to limited space, just like when I kayak as well. Normally I carry 3 oufits. Bassrod, Bottom rig and surface outfit. I fit most of my terminal tackle in 1 plano box.
