When I bought my Ski I was told to oil up the middle of the tires for the trailer. Do you guys know where to buy this greese/oil? Also, what is winterizing, is it easy to do or would I have to get it serviced?

Get the grease from walmart. It is like a few bucks (marine grease, I think grade 2).

And a greaser device:

For winterizing, if you ride all year round especially in calif, I don't think you will need it.

winterizing means draining all the fluids and remove the battery since it won't be used for a long period of time.

OH COME ON!!! We live in sunny Socal...no winterizing here. You should be using these things all year long.

I am working on winter fishing lures for Newport & Bassin' lures. No plans to winterize at my house. We need to plan a jetski tournament for newport harbor around the 1st of the year for spotties and halibut.

On a more serious note....Even in Socal if you are not going to use your ski for more than a month or two do at least two things:
1. Add Stabil to your gasoline.
2. Disconnect the battery as HS said.

Must be nice not to have to winterize! Im in northern IL and am in the process of winterizing right now. I just changed the oil on both ski's, and have "blown" out the water from the system twice. One more time blowing out the hoses, and then fogging the motors, pull the batteries and then its see you next spring!

Nice, thanks so much for all the information! It's been a few months since I got the Ski and was curious about these things. You all were very helpful!
