If you mod it, I don't suggest you go past a stage1 kit for reliability.

I have the same ski......a 2008 Seadoo RXT and this is spot on. And I run 93 octane only through it.

Find out what the maintenance cost is to do the 100 hour service on that supercharger, If you don't do it and something happens supercharger related, your warranty will be voided. Just because something is initially a good deal, doesn't mean it will always be a good deal.

Riva did my supercharger service for $475 out the door. The total with oil change and plugs and coolant was around $900 out the door.

Riva Yamaha only has 3 locations all in the South Florida area. Any authorized Dea-Doo/BRP PWC dealer can do the same work.

If you are interested in modding the supercharged motor send me a PM.
As for normal maintenance I can probably help you out(oil change, winterization, spark plugs ect.), the only thing is that we don't live that close.
For supercharger maintenance, I would go with Jerry from greenhulk.net. He a good job and has a quick turn around time.

Yeah, I know Riva is only in South Florida, but it was just to give you a ballpark price on what things cost. I'm sure a reputable shop in your area would charge about the same price.

Had a supercharged sea doo and it blew up at 170 hours. I used it only for fishing, didn't hot dog it. It was service by the dealer yearly. Wont buy another supercharged boat. Too many maintenance issues. The one good thing is it didn't blow up far from the launch as a typical trip is 30 miles from the launch.
