I am currently looking to buy a Jetski to start using it to fish. So many types. What are the pros and cons to what is out there.

Fxho is a great ski! Get one from vegas or the river and you should be the first one to put it in salt water. Then you know it is being cleaned right.

Has there been any new skis come out since the article was written that are a good fit for this sport?

I see a few seadoo models and yamaha models are looking very nice. And the price is right too! I think the lower end models are around $8000! But of course, the principle is still the same.. Stay away from turbos and superchargers. I'm curious, though, with the new braking system on the seadoos.. Do they work even if the ski is turned off? If so.. Would that slow you down in ripping current??
